What am i signing?

Between 2020 and 2024, an estimated $150B was lost in crypto—much of it due to phishing and users unknowingly signing malicious or incorrect transactions. This highlights how crucial it is to design wallet experiences that build trust, reduce ambiguity, and guide users through high-risk moments with clarity.

Learnings

Had a lot of fun designing a clear and comprehensive transaction flow—starting with mapping out complex user paths and contract variations, then defining what to ship immediately versus later. As part of this, I created a reusable pattern library to ensure consistency and speed up future iterations across the wallet.

User testing showed a clear improvement: most users felt significantly more confident and at ease when signing transactions compared to the previous version.

2024

0 to $150M TVL

How do you build early excitement around a new Bitcoin L2 and get users engaged before launch? We answered that through a custom-built points portal—a lightweight experience that gave users a taste of the chain’s offerings ahead of time. It wasn’t just about incentives; the design focused on showcasing real utility and guiding users through early interactions in a way that felt rewarding and meaningful.

Learnings

Working with the Bitcoin crowd for the first time challenged many of my assumptions around user behavior. These users were significantly more risk-averse and less familiar with DeFi mechanics than the typical Ethereum audience. This meant we couldn’t rely on established DeFi patterns.

I focused on simplifying the UX as much as possible—minimizing cognitive load, reducing perceived risk, and clearly communicating what was happening at every step. We also prioritized trust-building elements like transparent flows and reassuring microcopy. These changes played a key role in creating a sense of safety and ultimately helped users feel confident enough to deposit.

0 to 150,000 Users

Owned the end-to-end product design for Taho, a browser-extension wallet—shaping it from initial concept to a live product used by over 150,000 users.

Learnings

Working as the sole designer on both a crypto wallet and its brand was demanding, but also deeply rewarding. It pushed me to constantly prioritize what would have the most impact—whether that meant shipping fast, scrappy iterations or slowing down to sweat the details where it mattered most.

The experience sharpened my critical thinking and helped me develop a more intentional balance between speed, polish, and user value.
I’ve learned to strike a better balance between being scrappy when needed and letting my attention to detail take over when it truly counts.

My guiding principles.

Design is never "done."

I believe in shipping early, listening closely, and iterating often. Great UX isn’t a final state—it’s a process of continuous learning and refinement.

Transparency

Sharing progress early and working in the open helps uncover risks, align teams faster, and keep everyone moving in the same direction.

Not Chuck Norris

Good UX thrives on collaboration. Actively bring in voices from product, engineering, and beyond—good ideas can come from anywhere, and they usually do.

Balance

Great design lives in the tension between user needs and business goals, scrappy execution and pixel-perfect polish.
